Best B2B SaaS Marketing Agencies Compared: 12 Specialists by Model and Price (2026)

20 min readOctober 2, 2026Ismael Cruces

So you’ve ruled out generalists. You want a B2B SaaS marketing agency that already knows what pipeline, ARR and a long sales cycle look like. Fair enough. The annoying part is that the specialists all describe themselves in much the same words.

This post compares twelve of them on what does differ: specialism (one channel or the whole function), engagement model and published price in euros. Each entry also says who the agency isn’t right for, and whether it’s based in or works with Europe.

Piquiyo is one of the twelve, and Piquiyo is us. We’re third, in the same template as everyone else. Where an agency publishes no price, we say so instead of guessing.

In 30 seconds

  • Twelve B2B SaaS specialists, one template, every fact read on the agency’s own site in September 2026.
  • Specialism first: Animalz and Grow and Convert are content, SimpleTiger is search, Kalungi and TripleDart run the whole function.
  • Five of the twelve show a price on their own site, from about €3,500 (Bay Leaf Digital) to about €43,600 a month (Kalungi full service). Ours starts from €3,000.
  • Four state a European base or team: Gripped, Directive (London office), TripleDart (Portugal and Spain) and Piquiyo.
  • Gripped and Refine Labs publish stage floors, so a pre-Series A team can cross both off straight away.

How we picked them (and kept ourselves honest)

Every agency got the same five questions, us included:

  1. Stage fit. Do they work with companies below Series B, and do they say so?
  2. B2B SaaS focus. Is B2B SaaS the business, or one segment of a broader agency?
  3. Reporting depth. Do they talk about pipeline and revenue, or about leads and traffic?
  4. Pricing clarity. Is there a number on the site, or only a calendar link?
  5. Europe. Can they work with a European team in a European timezone?

That fifth one is less clear-cut than the others. A US agency can do excellent work for a European team; the timezone just makes everything slower. So Europe is a column in the table, not a filter.

The answers come from each agency’s own website, read in September 2026, and not from other lists. If a site doesn’t say, the entry says “Not published”. I don’t mean that as a dig. A missing price tells you something too.

The catch

Paid media budget usually sits outside the agency fee. It’s the line item most often missed in a first comparison.

The twelve, one by one

Founder shortcut

Start by crossing off everyone who has told you, in writing, that you’re too early. Gripped and Refine Labs both publish a floor.

Kalungi

The whole marketing function for B2B SaaS, from pre-product-market-fit to about €43.6M ARR. Overkill if you want one channel run cheaply.

  • Not ideal for: anyone wanting a single channel run cheaply. Their site says a full-service engagement replaces eight to twelve internal hires.
  • What they do: CMO-as-a-service, full-service strategy and execution, ABM, RevOps, branding, paid, content and SEO.
  • Engagement model: retainer, with a pay-for-performance component available. Their FAQ says “To have a maximum impact a 6-12 month engagement is a good minimum.”
  • Price: not on the homepage, but their full-service page states a price from about €43,600 a month (converted from US dollars).
  • Where: Kirkland, Washington.

They call themselves “the world’s only full-service B2B SaaS marketing agency”, and the T2D3 framework has a book behind it. The tiers are the part I’d read closely: Syntropy for under about €2.2M ARR, T2D3 for pre-MVP and bootstrapped, full service above that.

Gripped

Demand gen for B2B SaaS and AI companies past about €2.3M ARR. Seed teams, by their own statement, can skip this one.

  • Not ideal for: seed stage. They say it plainly: “We don’t typically work with pre-Series A or seed-stage companies.”
  • What they do: demand generation, ABM, paid search and social, LinkedIn ads, SEO and GEO, SaaS website design.
  • Engagement model: rolling contract with three months notice, delivered in 30-day sprints.
  • Price: published in full. Advisory or Execution from about €4,100 a month, Performance from about €8,700, Scale from about €17,500. They add that most marketing leaders invest about €9,300 to €14,000 a month, and that paid media budget sits outside the retainer.
  • Where: London.

The most price-transparent agency here, and one of the few that rules out a stage in public. Pre-Series A? That’s a call saved, and I wish more agencies did the same.

Piquiyo

piquiyo.com
Screenshot of the Piquiyo website

Us. A fit for post-seed B2B companies that need a senior lead plus a team that does the work. A poor fit for one channel at volume, or for Series B scaling.

  • Not ideal for: companies who only need one channel run at volume, and companies at Series B and beyond who need a large in-house function scaled.
  • What they do: positioning and GTM, demand generation, SEO and AI search, paid media, HubSpot and reporting.
  • Engagement model: monthly retainer, fractional team.
  • Price: from €3,000 a month, depending on scope.
  • Where: Spain, working with teams across Europe.

We’re here because we belong in the comparison, and we don’t win all of it. For content alone, Animalz or Grow and Convert go deeper. For search-led growth, SimpleTiger. Past Series A, scaling demand gen across channels, Gripped.

piquiyo.com

SimpleTiger

simpletiger.com
Screenshot of the SimpleTiger website

Search-led growth for seed and Series A SaaS. Look elsewhere if paid social or ABM is your main motion.

  • Not ideal for: teams needing paid social or ABM as the main motion. Search is the centre of gravity here.
  • What they do: SEO, answer engine optimisation, PPC, content, link building, digital PR, email and web design, run as one managed system.
  • Engagement model: packaged retainers, tiered from Startup through Enterprise.
  • Price: not published, despite having a pricing page. That page says packages are “customized based on the unique execution needs of each client”. Their contact page frames it as starting at 5% of revenue or funding at the respective growth stage.
  • Where: Sarasota, Florida.

They segment by stage, which most agencies don’t, and they moved on AEO early instead of bolting it on later. If search is your bet, I’d shortlist them even without a price.

Bay Leaf Digital

bayleafdigital.com
Screenshot of the Bay Leaf Digital website

For B2B SaaS that already has product-market fit and pipeline to grow, AI-native companies included. Pre-PMF teams, not yet.

  • Not ideal for: pre-product-market-fit teams. Their framework explicitly assumes PMF.
  • What they do: GTM strategy, SEO, content, paid, marketing automation, HubSpot management, sales enablement, analytics.
  • Engagement model: retainer led by a Growth Marketing Manager and a Senior Strategist, starting with a diagnostic.
  • Price: published. Authority Builder at about €3,500 a month on a six-month engagement, Growth Partner from about €4,400 a month.
  • Where: Grapevine, Texas, with a remote team. Their site says they serve the US and Canada.

One of the lowest published entry points for a full-service agency here, and it names the seniority of the people on your account, which few do. I’d ask to meet those two before signing.

bayleafdigital.com

poweredbysearch.com
Screenshot of the Powered by Search website

For teams with a demand gen budget already moving and something specific that isn’t working. Early and pre-revenue teams are out, by their own rules.

  • Not ideal for: early teams. Their contact page says they are not a fit “if you’re pre-revenue, B2C, or still getting buy-in for your marketing budget”, and mentions teams investing upwards of about €21,800 a month.
  • What they do: demand generation strategy, SEO, Google and LinkedIn ads, content, digital PR, ABM and HubSpot RevOps.
  • Engagement model: described as your demand generation operation outsourced. They state they take four new clients a month.
  • Price: not published. The figure of about €21,800 on their site is a fit criterion for your own marketing budget, not their fee, so treat it as a qualifier rather than a quote.
  • Where: not published on their own site.

They publish a hard guarantee, “30% more sales ready opportunities in 90 days”, and almost nobody in this category does that. I’d ask how they define a sales-ready opportunity before leaning on it.

poweredbysearch.com

Animalz

animalz.co
Screenshot of the Animalz website

Content strategy and production at a high standard. If you need paid media, RevOps or a full GTM function, this isn’t the place.

  • Not ideal for: anyone wanting paid media, RevOps or a full GTM function. This is a content agency.
  • What they do: content strategy and creation, thought leadership, whitepapers, podcasts, SEO and AEO, product marketing content, content operations.
  • Engagement model: not published.
  • Price: not published. They publish editorial articles about content budgets, which are not their rate card.
  • Where: remote, started in New York in 2015.

Their clients run from startups to Atlassian and Google. The range is real, but nothing on the site tells you where a post-seed company lands in it. I’d ask them straight out which clients looked most like you when they started.

animalz.co

TripleDart

tripledart.com
Screenshot of the TripleDart website

ABM, paid, content, SEO and RevOps run as one system instead of five vendors. Less suited if you want one specialism done deeply.

  • Not ideal for: teams who want a single specialism done deeply.
  • What they do: organic growth, performance marketing and GTM engineering, described as a GTM operating system delivered as expert service.
  • Engagement model: embedded operators, phased over the first six weeks, with full-service or single-track options.
  • Price: not published. There is no pricing page.
  • Where: Plano, Texas and Bangalore, with people in Portugal, Spain, Singapore and Thailand.

“You talk to us, not an account layer” is their stated model. Test it on the first call, because it’s the most common complaint about agencies at this size. Their people in Portugal and Spain are also why they get a Europe mention in the table.

tripledart.com

Grow and Convert

growandconvert.com
Screenshot of the Grow and Convert website

Content built to convert rather than to rank, for B2B and B2C alike. They’re not SaaS specialists, and don’t claim to be.

  • Not ideal for: anyone expecting a SaaS specialist. They serve B2B, B2C, ecommerce and services.
  • What they do: content, SEO and AI search, link building, AI citation outreach, technical SEO and paid search.
  • Engagement model: flat monthly retainer with no long contract. Their site says “We don’t require a 6 or 12 month contract.”
  • Price: published. Base package about €8,700 a month, scaling with output. They also sell one-off consulting packages at about €175, delivered as a single recorded call.
  • Where: not published.

They created Pain Point SEO, the method most of this category now borrows. For a post-seed budget, about €8,700 a month for content alone is the number to weigh.

growandconvert.com

Directive Consulting

directiveconsulting.com
Screenshot of the Directive Consulting website

Performance marketing at scale for B2B companies from Series A to IPO. A lot of agency for a first hire at seed.

  • Not ideal for: a first agency at seed. This is a large organisation with three divisions and 100+ strategists.
  • What they do: paid media, content, organic, lifecycle, performance creative, programmatic, CRO and revenue operations.
  • Engagement model: not published.
  • Price: not published. The only figure on their pricing page is a self-serve course at about €350.
  • Where: Orange County, with offices including London and Toronto.

Their Customer Generation methodology moved a lot of B2B marketing from MQLs to pipeline, and I’d read it even if you never hire them. SaaS is one segment for them, next to industrial and services.

directiveconsulting.com

Refine Labs

refinelabs.com
Screenshot of the Refine Labs website

Series B and beyond. By their own definition, post-seed companies are too early.

  • Not ideal for: post-seed companies, by their own definition. Their stated floor is around €43.6M ARR.
  • What they do: brand, demand and customer expansion, with paid media across LinkedIn, Google, YouTube, Meta, CTV and OOH, and in-house creative.
  • Engagement model: typically opens with a fixed-scope six-week assessment before any ongoing work.
  • Price: published. Paid Media Management from about €12,200 a month on a six-month minimum, Full Service from about €22,700 a month, Creative Only from about €4,400 a month, and the Revenue Performance Assessment at about €30,500 for six weeks.
  • Where: Boston, Massachusetts.

We kept them because their pricing is a useful ceiling, and their stage floor tells you what “we’ve outgrown our first agency” costs. A number worth having in your head, even if it’s years away.

refinelabs.com

Foundation

foundationinc.co
Screenshot of the Foundation website

For companies whose problem is being absent from AI answers. If you’re after a classic SaaS content agency, they’ve moved on.

  • Not ideal for: anyone hiring a classic SaaS content agency. They have repositioned.
  • What they do: generative engine optimisation, content strategy and creation, distribution, technical SEO, thought leadership, digital PR and demand generation.
  • Engagement model: not published.
  • Price: not published.
  • Where: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

They now describe themselves as “an AI visibility & GEO marketing agency” and measure citation rate and AI-driven pipeline. Shortlisting them from a list written before 2026? Double-check the positioning.

foundationinc.co

Who didn’t make the cut, and why

What we left out, on purpose:

  • Agencies whose site no longer matches their reputation. Foundation and Refine Labs both stayed, with the change flagged. Anything we couldn’t verify on the agency’s own site in September 2026 was dropped rather than guessed.
  • Prices from other lists. Several agencies on this page appear elsewhere with confident dollar figures that are nowhere on their own websites. We didn’t repeat them. “Not published” is less exciting, but it’s the accurate answer.
  • Ourselves at number one. We’re the third entry in a list of twelve, in the same template as everyone else, and just as easy to cross off.

Buying capacity before you have ownership is how startups end up with a well-executed plan nobody believes in.

How to choose a B2B SaaS marketing agency: specialism, model, price

Five questions, in the order that saves you the most discovery calls. This page answers the first two; the last three you’ll have to ask.

  1. What stage are you, and do they say they work with it? Gripped and Refine Labs both publish a floor. Kalungi and SimpleTiger publish tiers, so you can see where you’d sit before anyone quotes you.
  2. Is it one channel or the whole function? Animalz and Grow and Convert are content. SimpleTiger is search. Kalungi, Directive, TripleDart, Bay Leaf and Piquiyo are the whole function. Buying the second when you needed the first is the most expensive mistake here.
  3. What will they report on in month three? Ask for the actual template, not a description of it. If the answer is leads and traffic rather than pipeline, you’ll be arguing about attribution by month six.
  4. Who’s on the account day to day? The senior person in the pitch isn’t always the person doing the work. At least one agency on this list (Bay Leaf Digital) names the roles on your account publicly. Ask everyone else.
  5. What does leaving look like? Notice periods, who owns the accounts, and what you keep. Gripped publishes three months notice. Most don’t publish anything.
Decision flow. One: what stage are you, cross off published floors (Gripped not pre-Series A or seed, Refine Labs Series B and beyond). Two: one channel or the whole function. One channel: content from Animalz or Grow and Convert, search from SimpleTiger. Whole function: Kalungi, Directive, TripleDart, Bay Leaf Digital, Piquiyo. Then ask every remaining agency for the month-three report, who is on the account, and what leaving looks like.Shortlisting the twelve in five questions1What stage are you? The five questions in this section as a flow. The groupings are the ones this post states. Illustrative, not data.

How to choose between specialists: a quick decision table

If you’d rather start from your own stage and budget, this is how I’d narrow the twelve. The fee column repeats what the agencies publish. It isn’t a suggestion of what you should spend; for that side, see our guide to B2B SaaS marketing budget and CAC payback.

If you land between two rows, pick the earlier one. Moving up a row later is cheaper than backing out of a contract.

Worth stealing

When that month-three template arrives, hold it up against our list of B2B SaaS marketing metrics. If pipeline isn’t on the first page, I’d ask why.

Two related reads. If you’d rather compare providers with a framework than pick from a list, there’s how to compare B2B GTM providers in Europe. And if you’re not sure you need an agency at all, the fractional CMO versus agency comparison answers that directly.

Frequently asked questions

What does a B2B SaaS marketing agency do?

A B2B SaaS marketing agency runs some or all of a software company’s marketing function on a retainer: positioning and messaging, demand generation, content and SEO, paid media, and the reporting that connects those to pipeline. The range matters more than the label. Some agencies run one channel deeply, others replace the whole function, and the two are priced very differently.

How much does a B2B SaaS marketing agency cost per month?

Of the twelve agencies on this page, five publish a figure on their own site, from about €3,500 to about €43,600 a month in euros: Bay Leaf Digital about €3,500, Gripped about €4,100, Grow and Convert about €8,700, Refine Labs about €12,200 and Kalungi’s full service about €43,600. Piquiyo starts from €3,000 a month, depending on scope. The other six quote per scope. Budget for paid media on top, since it usually sits outside the fee.

When should a startup hire an agency instead of a first marketer?

Hire an agency when you know which two or three things need to happen and you need them run properly, and hire a first marketer when you do not yet know what those things are and need someone accountable for finding out. An agency is capacity and craft. A first hire is ownership. Buying capacity before you have ownership is how startups end up with a well-executed plan nobody believes in.

Agency or fractional CMO: which fits a post-seed startup?

A fractional CMO gives you senior decision-making a few days a month, with execution still to solve. An agency gives you execution, with the strategic call usually still yours. Post-seed teams often need both, which is why fractional teams exist. We compared the two in detail in fractional CMO vs marketing agency.

What should an agency report on in the first 90 days?

Pipeline created and pipeline influenced, cost per opportunity, and the specific thing they said they would change and whether it moved. Traffic, impressions and MQLs belong in the appendix. They show the machine is switched on, which is a much lower bar than producing pipeline. If you want to test this yourself before hiring anyone, the Search Console audit shows you what the honest version of that reporting looks like on your own site.

How long should the first contract be?

Three to six months is the normal range on this list, which gives the work time to show without trapping you, and Gripped’s rolling contract with three months notice is the most flexible published term. Be careful with a twelve-month lock that has no break clause.

What I’d do before booking a single call

Take this list and cross off everyone who has published a stage floor above you. Pick your top three from what’s left and ask each for the same thing: the reporting template they’d send you in month three.

You’ll learn more from those three documents than from three pitches.

If you want someone to sanity-check the shortlist with you, our free growth evaluation is built for that: we review your case, have a short call, and five working days later you get a 90-day roadmap for your pipeline, messaging and GTM. No sales pitch, and the roadmap is yours either way.

Last updated: 2 October 2026. Prices change, so check each agency’s site before you call.
